Jet is a writer, muse and a community organizer, born & raised in nyc. Jet is a LAMBDA Emerging Writing Literary Fellow. She is co-founder of The Josie Club, a social club dedicated to celebrating queer black womxnhood. In 2022, Roxane Gay appointed her as one of three in the inaugural cohort of the Joel Gay Creative Writing Fellowship; where she pens a weekly missive on Substack; Tiny Violences. She occasionally writes flash nonfiction on her Instagram stories about self care, friendship, belonging and love - and is experimenting and improvising her way through her first memoir project. Her writing has been included in Inverse Magazine, Lesbians are Miracles, The Free Black Women’s Library, Victory Journal, Emerge: 2021 Lambda Fellows Anthology, Columbia University Thesis Anthology and is forthcoming in The Angry Africans. She has received her MFA from Columbia University. Jet still lives in New York.
